terms of use
What you get
When you buy or download a pack, you get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the stickers in your own chats and on your own devices, on any messaging app. Use them as much as you like.
What you may not do
- Resell, re-package or redistribute the packs or individual stickers, or upload them to sticker stores and marketplaces as your own.
- Use the stickers as part of a product, brand or advertisement.
- Remove or alter the credits shipped with a pack.
Source images under a Creative Commons licence keep that licence; the credits file in each pack tells you which ones and how to attribute them if you use the underlying image elsewhere.
Delivery, refunds, changes
Packs are delivered digitally right after purchase. Because they are downloadable files, refunds are given when a pack does not work as described and we cannot fix it; write to us first. We may update a pack (for example, to replace an image after a takedown request) and re-issue it to buyers at no charge. Prices and pack contents can change over time.
No warranties, limited liability
The packs are provided as they are. We do not guarantee they will work in every app or on every device, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the pack.
privacy
This site is a static page. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when the font is fetched; our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page) for security.
When you buy a pack, the payment is handled by our payment provider under their own privacy policy. We receive your e-mail address and the order details so we can deliver the pack and re-issue it after updates. We do not sell or share this information and we do not send marketing e-mail unless you ask for it.
If you write to us, we keep the e-mail for as long as the matter is open. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, use the address below.
image sources
Every sticker on stickky is built from an image that is either in the public domain (museum open-access collections, government photography, works whose copyright has expired) or published under a Creative Commons Attribution licence that allows commercial use with credit. Captions and crops are ours.
Every pack ships with a CREDITS.txt listing the source page, the author and the licence of each image. Attribution for CC BY sources is also shown on the pack's store page.
Some packs use historical or official photographs of real, public figures. These images are free to use under their licences, and we present them in the spirit of the memes they already are. We do not imply endorsement by anyone pictured.
dmca & copyright policy
stickky respects the intellectual property and personality rights of others and expects the same of its users. We respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and to equivalent requests concerning right of publicity, trademark and privacy.
How to file a notice
Send an e-mail to the address below with:
- the pack name and the sticker (a screenshot or the file name);
- the work you hold rights to, and a link to it if it is online;
- your name, e-mail address and, for a DMCA notice, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised and that the information is accurate, made under penalty of perjury, with your physical or electronic signature.
We remove first and discuss after. A complete notice is acted on within 48 hours: the sticker is taken down and the pack is re-issued without it. Buyers of that pack receive the updated files at no charge.
Counter-notice
If you believe an image was removed by mistake, reply with a counter-notice identifying the material and stating, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error. We may restore it after ten business days unless the original claimant files a court action.
Repeat infringement
We keep a record of notices. Sources that draw repeated valid notices are dropped from our catalogue.
